Vinders currently lists 1,497 places across 17 categories and 167 municipalities in Belgium: farm shops and farm gates, bakeries, butchers, chocolate makers, takeaway pizza, vending machines for milk, eggs, flowers, bread and drinks, self-service shops open around the clock, and car-wash points. Every listing is checked before it is published.

How it works

Open the map and let it centre on where you are, or type an address, a postcode or a municipality into the search bar. The search radius is yours to set, from a few hundred metres to a whole province, so you can widen the area where the countryside is thinner on the ground than a city.

Then filter by category: one click on "bakery", "farm" or "vending machine" keeps only the places that match. Shops that are closed at the moment you are looking stay on the map but greyed out, so you still know they exist and when to come back.

Select a place to read its full address, opening hours, phone number, products and the reviews other visitors have left. The directions button hands the address to the navigation app of your choice, on a phone as well as on a computer.

What every listing holds

A Vinders listing brings together the exact address and its position on the map, opening hours day by day, the phone number and website where they are known, the payment methods accepted, the products on offer and the photos sent in by the community. Vending points available at any hour are marked as such: often they are the only way to find bread, milk or flowers on a Sunday or late in the evening.

Add or correct a place

Vinders is built by the people who use it. If a vending machine is missing, an opening time has changed or a shop has closed, you can report it straight from the map in seconds. Producers and shopkeepers can claim their listing and keep their own hours and products up to date. Every addition is reviewed before it appears, so the map stays worth trusting.
